Up Front
William … Third Generation Family & Operations Manager
The car gene is in my family blood. My Grandpa Jim and Aunt Camille have it. I love cars and I’ve owned a lot of them; I stopped counting after 60 and that was sometime back. I have been working full time with my Aunt Camille since I graduated high school. But that is not when my “work” here started. That was some time earlier when Aunt Camille would give me odd jobs to do around the shop when she would come in to catch up on her paperwork on weekends. I think the thing I love most about my job is helping people get the repair they expect. It is so gratifying to see the smile on their face when they see their newly repaired car. When I’m not working, I enjoy a variety of things from snowboarding, camping, interactive on-line video games to spending time with my beautiful wife, Iala (also our bookkeeper) and our families.

David … Repair Planner
My father’s interest in cars has influenced my own. My first job in the auto body industry was in 1991 while working through college. I started out as a shop helper sweeping floors, working my way into estimating around 1997. I like knowing I make a difference for our customers through my passion for cars, attention to detail and desire to help and educate them with regard to their vehicle repairs. I like the everyday challenges and rewards that are part of my position, including growing and improving my skills. I’m a “car” guy and I’m into almost anything automotive, especially the antiques and classics. I also enjoy working on my vintage cars. I’m into NASCAR, music, playing drums, listening to live music, alpine skiing, golf and spending time with friends.

James … Third Generation of the Family, Repair Planner & Parts Procurement
I am third generation of my family to work in the business. In 2008 I started as a temp doing maintenance and odd jobs after leaving my job as an electrician. I began assisting others with various tasks and before I knew it, I’d worked into a full-time position. I like to be the problem solver and help others do their job better. I like to fix things whether they be processes, equipment or cars. I like to make a difference. When I’m off work, my wife and I do in-home dog behavioral training and operate an animal rescue. I like spending time with my lovely wife, watching movies, playing amateur poker and computer and board games.

Iala … Third Generation Family, Office Manager & Bookkeeper
I married into the business, more or less, when I married William – a third generation of the family. I was studying accounting when the shop bookkeeper retired and I was given the opportunity to fill the position in 2005. Although I love helping people, I really enjoy keeping the books. I like being self-reliant and managing “my own” accounting department. In my free time, I enjoy cooking and love trying new dishes, but I find I prefer the flavors I grew up with in Cuba more than any. I also love snowboarding, learning to ski, camping and relaxing in the middle of nowhere with my husband William and our two dogs. ( You say my name, E-all-ah. )

In the Shop
Harold … Journeyman, Craftsman, Body & Frame Technician
I’ve been around auto body and wreck repair all my life. My parents owned a body shop and I worked there alongside my dad learning the trade from him. I had a shop of my own for a while, and I found I liked the actual repair work better than the business end. I like the challenges each repair brings, no job is the same from the smallest ding to the most crumpled up hits. I get great satisfaction rebuilding a vehicle and doing a repair that makes our customer smile. When I’m not working, I can be found alpine skiing, motorcycle riding, 4-wheeling, hiking and remodeling my home.

Travis … Apprentice Body & Frame Technician
I’ve been around auto body work all my life. My grandparents had a shop and so did my dad for a while. Now I’m working alongside my dad learning the trade; like he did with his dad. I’m lucky to get the knowledge and have the skills of two generations of tradesmen passed down to me. My favorite part of what I do is seeing the cars after we fix them and looking at what a good job we did. I like to start work early so there’s time left in the day for snowboarding and ATV riding.

Lenny … Journeyman, Craftsman, Body & Frame Technician
Out of high school I went into construction and during seasonal layoffs I did a variety of jobs; industrial painting, sandblasting, repair and painting of semi’s and farm equipment. This progressed into auto body repair year round. I like the way all of us work together as a team, and that we work without compromise to the quality and integrity of the product we offer. I also like that William and Camille care for us as individuals and consider our health, safety and family. I like working for them. Off work, I enjoy time with my family and working in the yard. I also enjoy fabricating and mechanic-ing on motorcycles, RC cars and custom vehicles.

Mike … Journeyman, Craftsman & Paint Technician
I started working here as a temp, washing cars and cleaning the shop, in 1995. I had the opportunity to learn how to prep cars for painting and I took it. Over time, and with training, I mastered the skills necessary to prep and refinish – from small one-panel jobs to complete paints – and then I moved up to painter. What I like most about what we do, is knowing we can take a wrecked car and restore it back to like-new condition, seeing the transformation from beginning to end and knowing I had a part in it. I like outdoor activities, fishing, hiking, boating and exploring.

Ken … The Best Detailer & Go-to-Guy
I became interested in cars when I was old enough to drive, that was around 1957. I had a long career and retired from Freightliner, but wanted to continue working and decided to put my skills to use in the auto body field. I like that my job is a non-stress one and that there is a different car to work on each day. I appreciate all the people working here, and my favorite thing is being helpful to the people I work with. I like cars so much that outside of work, my favorite thing – after spending time with my wife of more than 45 years and our grandchildren – is building hot rods.

Behind the Scene
Camille Eber … Second Generation Owner & President
I am second generation of my family to own and operate our family business, so I grew up around cars and the auto body shop. I always wanted to be owner of my own business, and I have been, since 1989. I get the most satisfaction from the work we do when I see the joy on peoples faces upon receiving their newly repaired vehicle. In my off hours, I enjoy alpine skiing, ballet lessons, driving on winding roads, reading, my two cats, time at the Oregon coast, and most importantly, spending time with my husband and our families.
